MaxLite

Maxlite is a stand-alone, easy to use basic programming and inspection environment for the beginning user.

Maxlite is a simple programming language using Sheffield's' proprietary Measurement Library language.  This sequential programming langue uses the same two letter language that Sheffield user's have relied on for maximum flexibility and solid reliability for years.

GUI
Maxlite's GUI is customizable for the level of sophistication the user requires offering two distinct programming modes of operation as explained below.

The user interface employs colorful, large buttons using simple to identify iconic pictures to represent the functions each button will perform.

Shop Floor Use
Combined with a touch screen the system was designed to work on the shop floor where instant part verification can be achieved.

Migration
Should the user desire more programming functionality, then our Measure Max Classic product can easily be used since the same basic language is also used.  Part programs written in Maxlite are fully compatible to run in Measure Max Classic!

Measure Mode
Measure Mode was designed for the beginning user who wishes to obtain instant measurement results without the need to write a sequential part program or complex part alignments.  Using Measure Mode the only requirement is a basic part alignment and you're ready to probe and go!

With Measure Mode's variety of features, constructions, and relations, parts can be inspected using the easy to follow wizards that guide the user through each step of the process.

The wizards permit the beginning user to write inspection routines without the need for a programming degree.  As the wizards are followed the code to inspect the part is written in the background.

Program Mode
For more sophisticated programming requirements including the desire to save and execute a fully developed sequential part program, Program Mode is used.

Program mode will address all geometric shapes available in MaxLite offering the user a wider variety of features for measurement, geometric relation, and constructions.
